Several series of bronze sculptures were produced on various university campuses in the mid-west while I was in residency as well as foundries in and near New York City in the 80s. The materials used for preparations of the prototype were found in nature including the urban landscape, and were then refined with wax for casting the bronze sculpture. These discards were remolded into other serviceabilities including: personal altars, talisman for the house and forecasters of good karma.
